David Hunt has been painting watercolours of the Gloucestershire countryside since his retirement in 2000. Many of his pictures are inspired by natural landscapes surrounding his home turf in Upton St Leonards. Although David still lives and paints in the glorious Cotswolds, much of his current work is from further afield, including North Norfolk, the Lakes and Yorkshire Dales.The north Cornwall and Devon coast is also a recently favoured venue . In the gallery you’ll find a selection of watercolours painted by David, many of which have been exhibited at the Portway Group Annual summer show in Painswick.
